LINK Animal Rescue
The LINK Between Homeless and a Furever Home
Hi everyone. My name is Karl-Anthony. I was named after a UK basketball player. Unfortunately, my own basketball career is on hold for awhile. You see, I ended up in the shelter last month. I was in bad shape. The shelter was told I “fell out of a truck.” Well, you and I both know that cats are pretty agile and I probably didn’t “fall out of a truck”, but we’ll leave it at that. When I got to the shelter I wasn’t using my leg and I was having trouble breathing. Since I was waaay down in Kentucky, another rescue got me out of the shelter right away and took me to the vet. My lungs were bruised but my leg was not broken. LINK took me once the vet down there thought I was ok to travel and I made my way up to Lebanon. I have been on bed rest and my leg has been healing over time and I have been using it. I love my big comfy bed so I don’t mind the bed rest much. I love it when someone sits with me and pets me. I could sit like that all day. 🙂 I am not supposed to be jumping but every once in awhile I do anyway and sometimes I have a little limp after I jump down. I also found that I LOVE the soft chicken flavored treats that they have. I will eat them right out of your hand. 🙂 I am now available for adoption. I would prefer a nice quiet home where I can just lay around with you. I am a little timid when I first meet someone new but after a minute I am fine. I especially like anyone who brings me treats or canned food. 🙂 I currently spend my days in my comfy bed in the office at Lebanon Small Animal Clinic supervising the office work. If you are interested in me you can go to www.linkanimalrescue.com to fill out an application. I have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
